The Cold Steel Voyager knife is an extra large sized blade that is much safer and stronger than other knives in its class. The 6 inch tanto-style blade is somewhat wider and ground thin at the edge for accurate cutting. The thin edge of the Cold Steel knife allows extra sharpness and with the curved blade, slicing is and effortless task. The Cold Steel blade is also partially serrated for better slicing and cutting. The sharpness of the Cold Steel blade will last longer because of the high carbon content of the blade. A lockback feature of the Cold Steel knife is also included for quick one-handed opening by either right or left-handed people. The Zytel handle has increased strength and stiffness, making the handle contour to fit perfectly. The handle also won't contract or expand in heat or cold weather. A stainless-steel pocket clip is also included on the back of the knife for extra traction.
